Very good food, reasonably priced, and tasty. Food service was a bit slow, but it tasted good so could be forgiven, plus there were 9 of us on a Saturday night, didn't see any other diners.

Always a warm welcome. Beer is the best in the area in my opinion. Food is great. Always my first choice.

We went for Sunday carvery it was excellent loads of choice of vegetables you can help yourself and 4 choices of meat well seasoned and tasty, service was good will definitely be going again 15.00 each for carvery.

Saturday night table booked for a family dinner
Got told we were late and no tables ( place was pretty empty) so we had drinks ‘ 20 minutes later we were informed again we late and a table of 9 were infront ( nobody had come in)and we had to wait another 30 minutes “
Been going for a few years on and off
But after that experience never again
Be warned of such a poor service

We popped into the Woodmans on the off chance of a bite eat. Imagen who was serving was genuinely lovely and welcoming. Now for the food, the portions were huge, all freshly cooked to order. Definitely recommend the Woodmans and is well worth a trip to this little gem in Gorefield.

Lovely freindly atmosphere the staff are very well mannered and very polite and go above and beyond to make your stay pleasent and the grill is just something else i hsve to say the best food I've had in a long while is definitely a 6 star rating would highly recommend

We’ve been coming here for years for the Sunday carvery and it was excellent the meats wore from local butcher but since the refurbishment and change of chef and management the quality has gone down no more Lincolnshire sausages and roasted potatoes now have the skins left on and the meat seems to be catering joints

7 of us ate here on the Friday whilst on a short break and thought the food was very nice so decided to have the Sunday Carvery and can honestly say it was one of the best carveries we'd ever had.

We stayed for 2 nights. The food was good, but the plate was half filled with too many crispy potato wedges. The biggest downfall was on both occasions that we ate, our meals took 40mins on one night and 50mins on the other to be served after ordering. I could understand if it had been very busy, but there wasn't many other diners.

We had a big group of us for Sunday roast carvery, the food was excellent best we've had in a long time. All the staff were very nice and friendly too. I really recommend the woodmans cottage.

We visited here for a family meal 14 of us yesterday it was busy but that's a good thing shows they are doing something wright! Food was AMAZING. We all really enjoyed it and highly recommend it.
